What happens next?

Towards the end of 2025, Dewsbury submitted its Pride in Place plan to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). If approved by the Government, it will unlock £20m of new funding for the town.

The Dewsbury Neighbourhood Board Community Grant is now open to applications to support local people, groups and organisations who want to deliver activities and projects that make a positive difference in the community.
